Happy Sunday. First, some admin— very excited to say that I am getting this newsletter organized and we now have a variety of sections which you will see at the top of the Good Folk homepage.
These sections are split up so that you can view at once the archive of resource roundups, writing prompts, general newsletters, interviews, work from our contributors, and more.
If you are new to Good Folk, I encourage you to check out some of the things we have published over the last year. And side note: I cannot believe it has already been almost a year since I launched this publication. To all of our readers: thank you for your continued support on this project.
Today’s prompt goes along with our View From Here series, which showcases what it looks like to live in rural and southern communities from those who are already here, rather than outsiders coming in. VFH posts offer a prompt for you, our readers, to respond to in the form of photography, writing, video, music, etc. You can respond in the comments here, or email us at goodfolksonly@gmail.com.
Your prompt is: what does home look like to you?
You could take a photo of your own home, a place that feels like home, a home you have seen… Anything that resonates.
